Rob Dow
Head Coach

Elite Hockey Program is proud to announce Rob Dow as its 2017-2018 Bantam Minor Head Coach.  Dow, who was born and raised in Orange, CT.   Coach Dow grew up playing in the Connecticut area and then went on to play NCCA Hockey at American International College (AIC).  After finishing up his playing career at AIC, Dow started coaching and immediatly became one the top coaches in the Connecticut area.

"I'm honored and excited to accept the head coaching position for the Elite Bantam Minor hockey team," Dow said. “Hockey has been one of the biggest positive influences on my life and I truly love the game. I'm looking forward to passing my knowledge onto another generation of players and focusing on their development."

"Rob Dow's commitment level to the team culture and the players is outstanding.  We are fortunate to have a coach with the passion and desire to help develop and advance his players.  He'll do an great job and I am excited to have him lead at the 2004 level." Said, Program President Peter Alden.

Dow resides in Branford, Connecticut with his four children and his wife Sue.

Frank Butler

Assistant Coach

Butler was a four year member of the NCAA Division 3 men's ice hockey team at Nichols College. Throughout his college hockey career the goal scoring forward amassed 56 goals and 42 assists for a total of 98 points in 98 games played. The East Haven, CT native won 2 ECAC northeast conference championships along with 2 NCAA national tournament appearances. Butler was voted captain his senior year and received many other league honors and awards. Upon finishing up his 4 years at Nichols,  Butler was signed to a professional contract in the SPHL for the Fayetteville Fireantz for the duration of their playoffs. Butler will assist the Bantam Minor (2004) Tier 1 team with Rob Dow.
